LENIIE UMEROVA
Leniie Umerova, a 25-years-old Ukrainian civilian originally from Crimea. In December 2022, she was detained on her way to the occupied peninsula to take care of her father, who was recovering from cancer treatment.
She was detained and has been held without trial for a year and two months now, including 10 months in the FSB’s Lefortovo detention centre on suspicion of espionage. The charge could result in a 20-year prison sentence.
