About us

Human Rights House Crimea

Human Rights House Crimea (HRH Crimea) is a civic union that currently unites six human rights organisations: three that left the territory of the Crimean Peninsula during the period of its occupation and illegal annexation by the Russian Federation, and one that was founded on the mainland of Ukraine in Kyiv, but since 2014 included the human rights protection and situation in Crimea to its focuses. Non-governmental organizations Crimean Process and CrimeaSOS, which have extensive experience in the protection of human rights in Crimea, became members of the HRH Crimea in September 2024.

HRH Crimea is a member of the international Network of Human Rights Houses, which unites 80 organisations in Eastern and Western Europe, the Caucasus and the Balkans, supported by the Human Rights Houses Foundation. It is also a member of Crimea Platform Expert Network and Ukraine 5 AM Coalition.

We work to develop and strengthen the potential of organisations engaged in the protection of human rights in Crimea, for effective and systematic work on the promotion and observance of human rights in connection with the occupation of the peninsula.
